Managing the People List

When you first begin with the CyberLock System, we ideally start by adding people to the People List.

The People List is the list of people who will be using CyberKeys. To clarify, they do not need a login.

Assigning a CyberKey to an entry on the people list is required. It will be easier to understand the Audit report as you will see a person's name.

 

Note: all pages have a question mark that links to the help section. It will connect to the help section for that particular page.

 

Adding People

To begin, an admin will log in.

Then select "People List" from the People menu.

Then click on the plus sign in the upper right to add a person.

Enter in as much detail as you feel applies. However, please avoid sensitive personal information, such as social security numbers.

You don't have to enter in a person. A name to identify with will also work but is not recommended. 

When finished, click Save.

 

You can now issue a Cyberkey, an RFID card, a Fob, or a door pin to the person.

 

Removing People from the People List.

There are many reasons you may want to remove someone from the People List. Removing someone from the People List requires having the proper permission.

You will log in to the site and choose People List from the People menu on the Home screen.

Click the box next to the People you want to remove from the list. Then click the Trash Can icon at the top to remove them. You will be prompted, "this action cannot be undone."

Please review to be sure. Any assigned CyberKeys associated with the removed user will become unassigned.
