Using Cyberkey Templates

CyberKey Templates are an easy way to configure a CyberKey for a user or multiple users.

The template has similar settings, such as Expiration and CyberLock access.

Select "Templates" from the Keys menu in the top menu bar.

Note a system will already have templates that are a part of the system. You will see an anchor at the far right to indicate if a template is a "system default" Template.

You may use the templates that already exist. However, we recommend creating a new one.

Click the plus icon in the upper right of the screen to create a new one.

You will have the option to create a "Key" or a "Mission." Choose "

A "Mission" is for sharing keys. A template has all the settings for a CyberKey.

Provide a name and click on save.

Provide the CyberKey template with the expiration rules, and lock access.

Then click on back.

Click on the pencil icon next to "Linked Template" in Key details to use the Template.  As a reminder, you access the Key Details from the CyberKeys list and click on any key and choose "properties."

Choose the template to apply from the drop-down and click on Save.

You can also link a template when you issue a CyberKey to a user.
