Assign a key with an issue number or mission number.

If you have many keys you manage, you can assign a key to a person without needing the serial number.

Even if the Cyberkey has not been added to your system, you can assign it this way.

An issue number is a unique, 8-digit number generated by CyberAudit-Web and linked to the key holder's record.

With Issue Numbers, the administrator can give the key holder any CyberKey not already in the system.

You can issue a key with either an issue number or a mission number.

To do this, you will go to your people list.

Click on the number in the row for keys to begin to assign a key.

You have the option to create an issue number. Select the subsystem, and if you want to use a template to link.

Click ok

when you plug the CyberKey in, the Cyberlink 2 software will ask for the issue or mission number. Enter the issue number generated.

When you connect a key to configure the Cyberlink 2 software will ask for the issue or mission number if the key is not assigned.

A mission is best to use if you have users sharing keys or use a ValidiKey Vault. The Mission number can be entered just like the issue number.

You would click create a mission and provide it a name. Then click the OK button.
