Access Credentials

People gain access to doors, vaults, CyberLocks, and FlashLocks using some form of access credential. The access credential distinctly identifies the person to whom the credential is issued. Each of the following is an access credential in a CyberAudit-Web system.

  • RFID Access Cards - Used with vaults and doors in combination with an RFID reader.
  • Mission numbers - Used with vaults in combination with a keypad entry device to identify a specific mission the user wants to check out or return.
  • Door Access numbers - Used with doors in combination with a keypad entry device. The Door Access number uniquely to a person in the system.
  • CyberKeys - A CyberKey is used to open CyberLocks. In addition, CyberKey Flash, CyberKey Air 2, and CyberKey Blue 3 can also transmit an IR signal which can directly open FlashLocks or open doors via a FlashReader.
  • Fobs - Fobs also transmit an IR signal to directly open FlashLocks or open doors via a FlashReader.
  • Flash Access - Flash Access is sent as a hyperlink to a person to use on a mobile device. When the person clicks the link, it sends a request to the CyberAudit-Web server that identifies the person. Flash Access may be used to directly open FlashLocks or doors via a Flex II FlashReader.
  • Cyber Access(Bluetooth ® or NFC) - Cyber Access is sent as a hyperlink to a person to use on a mobile device with the Cyber Access app. It may be used with doors via a FlashReader. When the user requests access the Flex System controller captures the unique identifier of the person associated with the app running on the mobile device.
