Man trap pairing identifies doors that are matched or paired with a selected door on a Flex II System. When one door in a pair is open, the other is not allowed to open with either a request to open or by authorized access credentials.

A door with an open/close sensor may be 'paired' with any other doors which are connected to the same Flex II Controller either directly or via an Expander or Door and I/O module. Both doors in a pair must have a door sensor installed, connected to one of the input lines, and identified in Flex II I/O Connections to ascertain when the door is closed. Doors which are not identified as having a sensor may not be included in man trap pairing.

Doors with keep unlocked schedules also may not be used in man trap pairs.

The man trap pairs feature requires the Advanced Door Features SEM.
