Providing access to a CyberLock

An administrator will log in to the Cyber Audit Web software to start.

The quickest way to start is if you already have an unissued CyberKey logged into the system. Make sure you are in the subsystem you intend to add to.

You would select "CyberKeys" from the key menu.  Click on a CyberKey serial listed as "not issued" from your list and choose properties.

Click on the pencil mark next to "Issued to." You can choose from an existing person on the people list or add a new person.

If you have a key template created that is not the default, you can use that to provide permission. Select it from the drop-down and click "Link to this Template."

Then click "Save" at the bottom of the screen.

If you don't have a Template to link, you can provide access to locks.

Find the CyberKey in the menu issued and click and choose properties.

Click on the pencil mark next to the Direct Lock Assignment.

Add the select the locks you want to provide the CyberKey access to. Then select scheduled access to the locks from the list on the right. Then click on "save".

Dock or sync the key with the Cyber Audit Web to provide the key with the access you granted.

The key is now ready for use.
