This page provides settings for the behavior of Weatherized Vaults or Vault 20 FX with a Flex System.
Key Programming - When programming keys from a Vault, keys may be programmed with a mission or mission template for each individual or with a common mission template for anyone with permission to use the vault.
Open Vault - There may be occasions where Weatherized Vaults or a Vault 20 FX may need to be opened to introduce CyberKeys or remove one that does not belong to that Flex Hub. In these circumstances the Vault may be opened either by a specific RFID card, a specific input number, or both. Using this method, the Flex System Hub does not program a CyberKey so when the key is removed it has no access permissions. If there are more than one Weatherized Vaults available in the same group, it rotates through the vaults, selecting a different one to open after each input. For the Vault 20 FX it will open the door and briefly open each key retainer to allow removing one or more keys. To add a key just insert one into any available key retainer.
Click the Scan card button to use any card reader in the system to capture the ID from an RFID card. CyberAudit-Web will automatically capture the ID and save it if the card is not already issued to someone in the system.
CyberKeys checked out from a Flex System Vault may be returned to any vault connected to the same Controller hub or one of its Expanders. Flex System hubs cannot share their CyberKeys with vaults on other Controller hubs or with ValidiKey vaults that support sharing CyberKeys.
