mission duration

The mission duration setting determines when the mission will start and how long the mission can be used once it is activated. Since there is no set day or date for expiration, the time until the next expiration begins when the mission is activated at a communicator and lasts for the duration of time indicated.
Note that a duration of days sets the mission's expiration to the end of the day indicated. (For example: If a mission with a one day duration is activated, it will be set to expire at the end of tomorrow).

If a mission is set to use master key access with a key schedule and a duration, the key schedule restrictions are ignored in favor of the duration. This only applies to master key schedules and not to schedules used in an access list. A master key schedule cannot be combined with a duration that uses minutes or hours. However, a master key schedule can be combined with a duration of "days."

The option "Beep or Flash every second after expiration" is only available when the increment of time is in minutes or hours.
