When a key is lost, it may be designated as lost in CyberAudit-Web. Doing so tells CyberAudit-Web to disable that key if it docks with a communicator. If the key is on an active mission, this action closes the mission and enables the owner of that mission to use the mission number to check out another CyberKey.

Additional Notes:
- Locks can be designated as disable points for a maximum of 16 keys.
- If a key is found again, the key may be removed from a lock's disable list. When all locks are cleared for that key, the key may be used again in the system.
- Locks with that key in their disabling list must be reprogrammed to remove that key. Otherwise, the key will become disabled again when it touches one of those locks.
