Administrators are people who log in to CyberAudit-Web to manage the system. When an account is created, CyberAudit-Web creates a single administrator and login called "TopLevel". As shown in the graphic above, it is the "primary" or root login to the system. As such it has all privileges. The "TopLevel" login may create additional logins at the "TopLevel" node or create additional nodes. It is the only administrator which may add logins at its own node. Any other login may only add logins to a subordinate administrator node.

Administrator Nodes are seen on the left side of many CyberAudit-Web pages. Each node has:

  • A set of permissions for viewing and changing configurations and settings.
  • A list of people that can log in to that node. These are called Administrator Logins.
  • A default set of access codes that will be used if that node has permission to add new locks.

Administrator Logins have these properties:

  • Login - A unique combination of 4 or more characters used to verify the person attempting to log in to CyberAudit-Web.
  • An Associated Person - A login must be linked to a person in the list of People for the system.
  • Password - A secret combination of 8 or more characters (depending on password preferences) used to validate the person logging in. If the administrator has an email address saved in their people record, they can receive a one-time password if their password is forgotten when logging in.
  • Login # - An 8 digit number used with communicators. The Login # identifies the administrator using the communicator so that newly added CyberLocks, FlashLocks, and fobs are visible to that administrator's node. It automatically sets up a CyberLock programmer or Grand Master with configurations for up to 1250 locks that need updating. It is used when adding and programming CyberLocks with the CyberLock Programmer II using CyberLink 2 or the CyberAudit Link app, and when adding and programming FlashLocks using the FlashLock Assistant applications.
  • Admin Node - The administrator node for the login.
  • Date/Time Format - The the date and time format template when displaying dates and times.
  • Time Zone - Audit trail reports, communication logs, and other time-related information that CyberAudit-Web produces is rendered to a time zone. This is the time zone used for the login.
  • Logged In - An Icon computer_key.png in this column indicates that the administrator is currently logged in.
  • 2FA enabled - An Icon in this column indicates that the user has 2FA enabled and setup () or not ().
