Subsystem codes are encrypted passwords that enable access to CyberLocks. They also enable resetting CyberLocks using a special kind of Subsystem Master Key called a Reset Key.

Once a CyberLock is programmed with a subsystem code, it cannot be changed without first resetting the lock. A CyberLock system administrator may wish to have CyberAudit-Web periodically roll lock access codes without the step of resetting the locks. Selecting this option also adds new locks to the system without a subsystem code by any method of adding locks, including when a login# is used.

If the administrator wants certain locks to have a subsystem code, they may modify Lock Properties to add it.
