Web Client Update Frequency
This controls how often a web client Communicator checks in with its CyberAudit-Web server for updates. The default is 30 seconds. It is a feature of these older model communicators:
- First generation Web Authorizers
- First generation Flex System hubs
- Original WebStations
Systems with many of these communicators may wish to reduce load on the CyberAudit-Web server by reducing the frequency of check-in. The administrator should be aware that any updates to key records or missions stored in Communicators may be delayed when updates are less frequent.
These communicators maintain an almost continuous connection with the CyberAudit-Web server using http long polling.
