Visibility in CyberAudit-Web defines whether an administrator sees certain components. It enables higher level administrators to divide and delegate management of the system.

Visibility may be directly assigned using the toolbar for viewing and editing these components...

...and for viewing these components...

Subsystems control visibility to these components:

Visibility to Key Templates is controlled within a given subsystem. If visibility is desired to a template outside of a subsystem then the template is copied from one subsystem to another.

An administrator may also get visibility to People, CyberLocks, CyberPoints, and Schedules as a result of assigning visibility to a tag. Listing pages for People, CyberLocks, CyberPoints, and Schedules each have a VR_head.gif column that indicates the source of visibility.

  •    The item is explicitly visible because it was added at or below the current administrator node or was granted using the CyberAudit-Web toolbar.
  •    Visibilty to the item was inherited from a tag. If the item is removed from the tag, visibility will be lost.
  •   The item has visibility through both of the methods above.
